Firecrackers, Acrylic, Wood board canvas

CONTEXT

A star flashes and twinkles after the explosion. Those stars scattered in the Galaxy repeat the cycle of reincarnation: explosion and birth. He spread out ‘Firecracker Painting’ by taking advantage of the explosion of firecrackers all over the canvas. He made a painting of supernova explosion through blasting firecrackers. The system of reincarnation that explosion creates a new planet resembles apoptosis. About 3,000 human cells die in a day and reproduced. He feels the magnificent universe and the macrocosmic human cell in common, which have a fateful cycle that everything must come to an end in order to be renewed. The paint left its mark of explosion power which blasted unintentionally and even the tiniest paint can be found far from the center. All those tiny blasted dots on the canvas is too minute to be captured by a pixel digital camera.

Explosion, death, and birth are in one united cycle. We shall never fear the death in order to be renewed. This is how human being is supposed to be and ordained by the universe.
