CONTEXT

I know what it’s like to be at rock bottom.  My mentality was in the pits, my life was in total despair, and thought my life would end.  However, a bottom has a physical limit of how far you can fall.  I grabbed a creature living at the rock bottom of the ocean and started my ascension.  Letting this creature dance all it likes on top of my skull.  This octopus sucked down on my brain as it adhered to my skull.  The external inspiration given by the octopus formed a sense of myself as well as giving a freedom to the octopus to form its hairstyle.  My neck and spine were broken but this creature from the bottom of the ocean brought me a whole new style to expose the fiber of my being.  This piece represents a perfect balance of two living things coming from the fallen place.
