The Perfect Accident
The Perfect Accident, 2018

DATA
CONTEXT
On November 4th, 2002, I suffered from a fracture dislocation of my cervical spinal cord from a skiing accident. I fell down head-first from five meters above the ground. My head pierced directly through the snowy ground and my full weight caused severe damage to my 4th and 5th cervical vertebra. The reality was harsh and I thought I lost all hopes when I had to look at my MRI photo to face the reality. Creativity inspires myself and others by creating something. So I tried to have an image of a flower seed planted in my broken cervical spinal cord, which can bloom if I can nourish it properly. I have thought through my way of life and came up with this philosophy. No one can go back to the past whether you encounter this sort of accident or not. All you have to do is to think through your life and continue to imagine creative things.
